The lamp series Patosaur (from apatosaurus) connotes the fact that plastic, while not organic in the conventional sense, originates from ancient organic matter. In contrast to the uniformity of the mass-produced single-use PET-plastic we upcycle, the lamp shades – like all living things – are all uniquely and timelessly imperfect by design.Each lamp shade is crafted by hand in our studio, making every piece unique — with folds, variations, and traces of the process becoming part of its expression.
Pelagia
Our original model. Big light designed with high ceiling spaces or outdoor areas in mind. Made from 100% upcycled and locally sourced PET-plastic, which is carefully molded and colored by hand in our studio in Göteborg.
Brachio
Brachio is our latest addition to the Patosaur series. Its body is made from 100% upcycled and locally sourced PET-plastic, which is carefully molded and colored by hand in our studio in Göteborg, and then outfitted with a customized 3D-printed detail in TPU-plastic.
Barnacle
Barnacle is a prototype design, expected to launch soon. Designed with windowsills and dark corners in mind. Smaller in size compared to our other models, but more versatile in terms of placement.
